The michigan.gov website provides contact information for all of the Community Mental Health locations for each county in Michigan. Most of these locations include crisis response contact information.
Suicide Prevention
The suicidepreventionlifeline.org website provides a national lifeline for anyone experiencing a mental health crisis including thoughts of ending their life.
Reporting Child Abuse
Anyone in the State of Michigan, including a child, who suspects child abuse or neglect, can make a report by calling 855-444-3911. In addition, the Child Protection Law requires certain professionals to report suspected child abuse or neglect. Review the Mandated Reporters section of michigan.gov’s website for more details.
Sexual Violence
Rainn.org provides a hotline and national resources for survivors of sexual assault.
Domestic Violence
24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, the National Domestic Violence Hotline provides essential tools and support to help survivors of domestic and interpersonal violence so they can live their lives free of abuse.
Childhood Trauma
The National Child Traumatic Stress Network has excellent resources for anyone seeking more information related to trauma experienced in childhood.
